You know, I thought the same thing, almost like Beretta's xtra grain but it now has an adjustable comb on it and the streaking runs through the cut on both the stock and adjustable piece, so who knows!

I too thought, liquid stock grain, but if you cut the stock for the adj. comb you know for sure that it isn't. Gotta say I'm impressed even if the barrels have a position problem......

Not sure why the adjustable comb was applied, I’m not familiar with them. I’ll try and get the forend iron off and see what it looks like underneath.

I would think Xtra wood at that price point,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but ok looks nice
