Default #3 Frame 16ga - How rare?

Recently I was at a charity clays shoot and an acquaintance of mine, who loves and knows Parkers but is not a PCGA member, brought along a 16ga GH on a #3 frame. She is a beauty too.

I was curious - can anyone comment on how rare a #3 frame 16ga is?

I need to get up with him to learn more - She is big and heavy. I honestly thought it was a 12ga but at the last moment he tells me "oh this is a 16ga - on a 3 frame!"

And at that point the event began and i didnt get a chance to ask him about it again that morning but i will!

My #3 frame 16 is an 8 3/4 pound, 28" VH. I have no idea why anyone would order such a gun, but I just couldn't let it get by me.

Or someone like me who likes to shoot a heavy gun at clays. I would love to give one a test drive
