I ship guns and other sporting items practically every day . We use UPS pretty much exclusively and no they aren’t perfect , but they do better then 30 miles a DAY .

Well my gun departed Linthicum MD distribution center 1-9-19 and just arrived in Richmond Va an hour age 1-14-19 with NO STOPS in between . That’s a crock of poop if I ever heard one . I hesitate to think what kind of shape the box will be in when and if it arrives AND if the guns still in the box . I realize the USPS serves or served a purpose once upon a time but seems to me that time may well be past !

I’ve got a Grade 0 top lever leaving Hendersonville NC Tuesday or Wednesday I hope like hell that one comes UPS or even Fedex .

Mine sat in a Post Office in New Jersey for several days with "not scanned in yet" and then it magically appeared in Savannah.

Oh well, they aren't paid much and now aren't paid at all, so cut them some slack, I guess. My local Post Office in SC is great. They love guns

Gun arrived today with four inches of the barrels poking out ! They already had the nick in the end when on GB . But amazingly the gun seems none the worse .

Yikes! Well, I have two supposed to arrive in California tomorrow, so hope they arrive safely.

The Grade 2 Two frame 12 gauge arrived yesterday with the barrels poking out the box . But other then the delay and the shock of the box condition all seems to be in order . This one doesn’t have as nice stock dimensions as the One frame but it’s shootable .

It’s just incredible how some people pack guns... no real protection at all.

I wonder if Mark Ray took a picture of the packaging I used to send a buttstock to him last week...?

The guy I bought it from lived in the Republik of MD and he told me he took it to a dealer to ship it to us and the dealer packaged it . I dunno which was worse the packing job or the USPS . I dunno why he needed to use a dealer being as the guns an 1884 , maybe it’s a state thing . And on the other hand I’ve packed some guns really really well , where they have about two inches of bubble wrap on all sides and other stuff around them So they don’t move inside the box and some people still complain .
