Default Greensboro Gun Show

Just a couple of photo,s of the gun show, As Mike said it was messy outside but smelled of gun oil inside, saw one other hammer gun in the place , and it was sort of like a coat of many colors. Gary

Wonderful pictures Gary and thank you for representing the PGCA in such a classy way..... In the third photo down is that a Colt Lightning on the table?

No Dave, it isn't a .38 cal. Colt Lightning.

It is a grade 2 that had a complete restoration by Darlington gun works several years ago. gary

Jeff, I think those were Jim Parkers display cases that were sold a Julia's auction.

It was a great display for sure, and I saw more people lingering longer over that glass case full of hammer guns than any other table there. The other gun that I would have LOVED to take home was the the cased VH Two Barrel Set (green felt lined case in the pictures).

Dave, are you a Colt Lightning fan? My Dad has a .38 Colt Lightning pistol, nickel with pearl handled grips. I've got it's big brother, large caliber pump action Colt Lightning Rifle.

The case is made in Iowa, I had two made a couple years ago, I Think Jm Hall bought Jim Parkers cases. The cases I have are walnut with mother of pearl inlay, I had the parker emblem put on while they made the case, after all you got to have a good case for a great gun!
