Dave, these were the closest I have. While good Parkers are hard to find, they are out there for the patient. Far fewer Lefevers were made and are difficult to find in mid to high grades. The most interesting in my opinion are the ones with all the compensating features and those are very hard to find. I am fortunate to have found ( through a friend) and acquired the two E's. The Lefevers with the cloverleaf sculpting on the breech balls and the wings on the barrel chambers are outstanding.

You wanna talk about a lefevers and parkers, how about that Parker side cocker conversion going up on auction at morphys. An ad with a photo of it is in the current issue of PP. however it is from the "bad" side of yhe gun which doesnt show the cocking lever.

I gotta go with the Lefever. I own 3, no high grade ones, a G 16 Damascus and 2 20 ga Dursten specials
