The banquet/meeting was held on site at Hopkins. The large multipurpose room was just fine.

The Charlie Price Literary Award was actually conceived by Bill Mullins to be given to two people each year, this being the inaugural year.
Mike Franzen received the other CPLA for his work producing the Parker Chronicles column in almost every issue since its inception a few years ago. Very Nice Work Mike! Thank You! .

Dean, I was very very happy to see you receive the CPLA. There is no question you deserve it for all the work you do. To be honest I was very surprised when Tom Wooden announced I was selected to also receive it. I just never thought about anything like that. I felt very humbled by the honor. I don’t know who was on the selection committee but thank you all for the acknowledgment. It was wonderful.
