Default Trojan

Did all Trojans have 21/2" chambers from the factory or did the later ones have 23/4" chambers?

As a general rule, the barrels on all grades of hammerless Parkers were chambered the same (for the gauge) and the only variations to standard chamber length were made by special order, not because of a lower grade of gun.

In theory, at the time of their introduction, the Trojan would have come with 2 5/8 inch chambers in 12-gauge, intended for 2 3/4 inch shells. In 16-gauge they would have had 2 7/16 inch chambers intended for 2 9/16 inch shells and in 20-gauge 2 3/8 inch chambers intended for 2 1/2 inch shells.

By the Remington era specification sheets all three gauges would have had 2 5/8 inch chambers intended for 2 3/4 inch shells.
