Default Garden and Gun

A while back, a friend gave me a subscription to a southern lifestyle magazine called "Garden and Gun". It's about 98% garden, fried food, and southern whiskey, but once in a while there is an article on guns or hunting. The August/September issue has an article on a woman engraver named Lisa Tomlin. She is shown holding a Parker which she engraved. It appears to be one of "the in the white" A1 Special repros. Anyone heard of her, or seen any of her work?

Hopefully, this link to the article will work

Yup, I read the article and the gun seems to be one of the white A1 Specials. She apparently trained under Ken Hurst and made good. By the way, I got my next issue in the mail today and have not read it.

There was an artical on her in either Shooting Sportsman or DGJ. A very talented lady, thanks for the link.

John, Lisa has done a number of jobs for me. She lives within a few miles of my home "as the crow flys". The trigger guard (dogwood flowers) in the Garden And Guns artical is a part from a Repo A1 Special she did for me. Lisa is a very nice person and a world class engraver. I strongly recommend her and her work!
