Default AHFCA Bo-Whoop/WC Letterman Cup events at HHHSC

AHFCA is once again holding the Bo-Whoop/ WC Letterman Cup long range gun and SBT gun events at the Northern Classic at Hausmann's in June. The AHFCA BOD has decided to graciously add $200 of purse money to the Bo-Whoop payout and $100 to the WCL payout. This will be added on top of the money collected from those shooters competing for the cash payouts. For more event info, please see the AHFCA forum under the events heading. THX!!

The Bo-Whoop Long Range competition kicked off in 2008 and the WC Letterman Cup (vintage SBT gun) in 2013. Both events have been popular since their inceptions. I don't have the most recent tallies but a few years back the Fox Collectors hosted 145 shooters for practice and score. The generous addition of extra prize monies should make the shooting hot and heavy this year; and I have no doubt "Evil Mike" the target setter will make both presentations challenging and fair.

Do you need a 12 ga/3-inch 3 Frame or a Super-Fox to be competitive on the B-W targets? One year the B-W was won by a 28" 12 bore Field gun.

Two years ago Jolly Bill brought over a 20g Super Fox and 2 1/2" RST shells. He allowed me to shoot a BW round with it. The score was 10/10. If you put the muzzles in the right place you will break the targets.

A couple of years ago my 30" 20ga SW with 3/4oz. loads did it's job and held up very well against those 12ga. shooters. I call it precision shooting as there is no room for error but it sure is fun with a smallbore.

BW/WCL targets are set. Bring your "A" game and wear your big boy pants!! A list of WINNERS and WHINERS will be posted after the smoke clears.
