Default Lapeer Mi SxS Shoot

This year it will be May 12th, a Saturday. We'll have the usual, skeet, trap, 5-stand, pigeon ring, long bird, duck towers, flurry, and SC's. $50 for 50 birds and a steak dinner. Second round of clays is $10 and all side games are $5. Free gun related tables to sell or show your stuff. We start shooting at 9am so bring plenty of shells. Hope to see everyone and maybe some new faces. I broke my leg 2 1/2 weeks ago and I'm depending on my friends to help out so it my be another week or so before the invites are in the mail. Paul I'll be there can't do the dinner but be there for the shoot. I'll see who else I can round up besides Anderson.

Edit, looks like Rich might not be able to make it, as he is signed up for a shoot at Medford WI that weekend

I probably won’t be able to attend either of them, but that’s the same date as the RGS shoot.

Hey Kirk, come out sometime on a Sunday, Tuesday, or Friday and shoot with us. We're just around the corner from Flint. We're open each day from 9am to 4 pm on Sun and Fri and till 9pm on Tuesday. Exit 163 off the I-69, 4 miles north to Bowers, 1 mile back to the west to N. Lake George Rd., and a 1/2 mile north to the club.

It's a nice club. I've shot there several times at a charity shoot for young hunters. I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the club since they softened up the Sporting Clays course so much that I managed a 48/50

Gee, I would have thought a shooter of your caliber would have gotten a 50. Just kidding, but I keep hoping someone will some day. I try to keep it fun, not a NSCA challenge.

I just sent out another 23 invitations today. Our computer took a dump and we only had a partial list . Today the wife found some more names. If I've missed anyone I'm sorry. Please let me know if you didn't get a invite.

Damn, It's 4 days too early. I'll be in Lapeer the afternoon of May 15 for 6 days.

That's a problem easy to solve - come down 4 days earlier. Make it 5. That way you'll have a day of rest before the shoot. But if you can't, we're open on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 9 to 4 on Fri and Sun, 9 to 9 on Tuesday. Come on out, I'd love to meet you. I keep a extra SxS in the closet with shells. No excuses. Oh, if you can make it let me know. My brother Mike lived up there and Murray's brother still does. They'd like to talk to you.

Well, no rain. We got lucky. Thanks to all of you who attended. You guys make the shoot, not me. Paul
