Default Baker Paragon Barrels

Baker Paragon with hole drilled through middle SN number and through extractor rod channel and into chamber. Was filled with soft solder and obviously used for many years that way. Have no idea why the hole was drilled. Something for the experts.

Amazing Bruce. With your permission I'd like to post those images on the DoubleGun site for the fellas. I assume you made a visit to our friend's place in Brookside?

Sure Drew. And have you developed any opinions about manufacturers blacking mismatched segment barrels? I have also seen barrel sets where one barrel was fluid steel and the other twist and the set blackened so you couldn't tell.
I'll call sometime about Jan in AZ quail hunting.
