I was just givin this gun today by the fellow down the street. I will post some pictures any info or help would be great

Looks French to me...But I know this... The barrels are goin the wrong way..

Try posting on the Doublegun site, with some close, clear pix of the watertable and bottom of the chamber area, and I'll bet you'll get lotsa help

What a neat gun. A French sliding breech predecessor to the Model 32 Remington. They are of little interest to collectors but a nice gun. If you want a home for it, PM me. I have always wanted to own and shoot one.

They are very cool guns. I sold one to Dieter Kreighoff about 10 years ago. He wanted it for their collection. Nicely made--lightweight and, as mentioned, the forerunner of the Model 32's that followed.
