Default Loads for paper hulls

Bought a bunch of paper hulls and want to reload some of them. There are three typs of hulls. Petters victor, winchester, and federal. Looking for light loads. Would like to find some useing 7625 and w209 primers, powder and primers are hard to get around here. I will be trimming the hulls to 2 1/2" this way they will fit all of my guns. Dosnt make any difference if they are roll crimp or folded crimp. I have tools for both. I would'nt mind useing a fiber wad colom if at all possible. I did a thread serch and read until my eyes hurt but was'nt coming up with any specifics. Thanks for any help

Do some web searching for the older shotshell reloading manuals. Used book sites maybe. Abebooks maybe or Amazon.

Are you looking for 10 gauge, 12, 16, 20, 28 or 410? I have some old reloading books and may be able to provide information to you.

I believe any low pressure load for plastic in the same shell would work. When I load Federal papers I just use the same data that's for Federal plastic. Never had a problem.

Here is a load from Lyman's Shotshell Handbook first edition.

"Use with Federal Plastic and Paper Cases Only"
1 1/8th oz shot, 25.5 grains SR 7625, Federal 209 primer, one Federal .135 (nitro card) two Federal 3/8" fiber cushiond, 6,700 LUP, 1160 F.P.S..

Should fit nicely in a 2 5/8th inch hull with a roll crimp but if the wad column is too tall you can easily split the fiber cushion to get the proper wad column height. If you cant find Federal 209 primers I think you will be able to get by with a Federal 209A primers by reducing the powder charge by 2 or 3 grains.

Or just use Win or Cheddites - you'd just lower pressure a tad .

I have come across a load useing win. aa lite and win 209 primers with 3/4 oz shot and win plastic wads. Was thinking about switching win, wads for fed. wads and loading in papper fed hulls. any thoughts on this. Develops 5500 psi in plastic.
