At least the Parker Bros. frames vary in width. I stuck a caliper over my 2-frames and that setting wouldn't go over the 3-frame and had nearly a quarter inch play on an 0-frame.
NID Model Ithacas are the same from, .410-bore to Super-10. Only difference is in the height and width of the standing breech and the firing pin spacing. |

The various frame sizes are something that we can measure and report. The way the design looks in small bore Parkers is an aesthetic opinion. I have my opinion, and my guess is that each of us has one. I find the proportionally longer frame of Parker small bores quite handsome.
