Garland, who was on the RSA board of directors at one time, has some way of making the best looking top lever springs. If I had to it would take me about three or four hours to make what he sells for $30. They're all the same and look like the factory made them. On second thought, maybe they were and he just acquired a stash of them. I never ask. I had a grade four 1873 Remington hammer lifter with a broken stock. Brad got one from a guy who had a bunch of them from the factory. Who would of thought someone had original stocks from 1873. Saved me a bunch of money - paid under a hundred and had Brad do the final fitting and checkering.
