I like to lead with the swamp of 0 frame 28 ga barrels vs that of the 00 frame 28 ga. and resulting effect of the woodcock migration.

Yup, good topic Brett - woodcock are often found at the edges of swamps, in the alders and swamp maples. But the fine differences in the swamping of the 0-frame vs the 00-frame should stir a lively conversation.

Brett and Dean, are you seeing swampy leads at the bird or barrel? Is the lead the same when the barometric pressure is rising/falling?

I always aim a tad high on a falling barometer but the swamp of the 0-frame barrels, unless longer than 28” tends to negate my intended POI.

In the 0 frame vs 00 frame debates, I have seen first hand the advantage quickly shift to the fellow that has a Setter so attuned that it would intentionally tip over it’s masters adult beverage when it sensed time to refocus was required.

Some day I’ll meet you two guys, together. It will be worth the price of admission.
