I have it all, but then again that's not much compared to a lot of you. I've moved into my 2nd 30 gun safe awhile back. Now I'm wishing I only had a handfull of my favorites. I've some nice graded in small and larger bore in all the early American doubles. Thanks to a close friend, I'm still acquiring! He knows my weaknesses....
I'm not a collector, I'm a shooter, I find myself shooting the field grade guns I started out with, the Sterlys, the VHs, the Smiths. I have some nice shooters, thanks to some good friends/members, but I'm finding I'm content with the simple plain ones. I, like others may thin the herd and upgrade to something special one day. My only problem is I just hate letting go of anything. My good friend told me, "it's the thrill of the chase, we buy, sell, and move on to the next one", he's right at that!

I learned the best way for me to keep a gun long term is to buy ones I cant replace or find another of haha .

I hadnt planned on buying a double again anytime soon but recently found a Lefever 10 gauge I really like .

The year is only one day old and I find myself fighting off the desire to bid on a couple of guns. Yep it's the trill of the hunt and the frictionless commerce made possible by the internet. I wonder how long I can hold out!! So far I have managed to keep my finger off the BID button!!

Hang in there we’ve still got 361 more shopping days to go
