What is the serial number? There were a few dog's head buttplates for the various periods of Parker VHE production. Is the stock inletted for a spurred buttplate?

I believe your Parker would have had a buttplate just like the one displayed on the gunbroker.com item no. 155817436

There are several sizes and styles on eBay right now under "parker gun parts".

Buttplates usually require a little fitting, if you find one that's a perfect fit right off the shelf then you'd better buy a lottery ticket that day too.

Actually they require a lot of fitting and if you find one that's a "perfect fit right off the shelf" it probably came from your own gun way back when.
