Robert,
J. J. Jenkins was a gunsmith here in Santa Barbara, CA during the 1970's. I was working in Santa Barbara at the time as a Deputy Sheriff. I may be wrong but as I recall he was working out of a gunshop called Cy's Gun Shop. He did do excellent work. I have no idea what became of him as I left the area. I will check with some friends to see if they remember any more about him. Dennis |

Nice VH with some dressing up.
The gun was restocked for sure. The short BTFE, rounded cheek panels, fatter grip and chcekering pattern are clear indicators. The comb is nicely done. The case colors are great!
