Default Bullseye Powdef

I have an opportunity to acquire several jugs of Bullseye Powder. I searched the Alliant reloading WS for possible shotgun loads but found none. Can this be used for 12 and other gauges? Are there published recipes to be found somewhere?

Thanks

Yes there are published loads for bullseye. Max 1 oz, look in Loadbooks USA manuals.

Alliant no longer lists bullseye as a shotgun powder because they have red dot, E3, and extra-lite. But bullseye was listed for light target loads up through the 1980's IIRC. I've never heard of anyone having problems with it.

Bullseye is just a bit faster burning than Red Dot. It is an acceptable powder for 12 gauge 7/8 ounce loads at 1200 fps.
