Default Bolt screw size and thread

Anyone know what the thread pitch and size is for the tiny little screw on the bolt? I had to drill this screw out and I need to clean out the threads.

Also- anyone have one of these screws?

Default 12 ga hammer screws?

Brian - would you know the thread and pitch for the hammer screws on the old hammerguns? Or a place to get them?

Tom Carter makes new screws for hammer guns at a reasonable price. He will even time them if you send him the lock plate assembly.

I THINK the hammer screws are 4-40 if I remember correctly.

BTW timing is excellent the gun shoots like a champ, and I love to use it for clays and live game. My screw backed out and when I tightened it, the head sheared off. Id like to replace them both....

Look Tom up in the members listing section here on the forum and contact him.

By timing I mean making the screw slots point in the right direction.
