Default Parker 28 Gauge

So I had posted in the wanted section a few weeks ago about a 28 gauge VHE

Some what interesting story
Kittery Trading post calls several weeks ago and had taken in a 28 VHE
Now I have been looking for a few years for a 28
I go down there and bought it and did so by trading 18 guns toward it
When I put the post on here about a question Mr Bob Kimbel (from on here) sends me a message about one he had for sale
So long story short I end up with both

Thanks to Bob Kimble for selling me his 28 and being very honest about the condition
Thanks to John Dunkle and the Kittery trading post for their help
It is wonderful that John and crew at the Post took the time to let me know as they know I have been looking
I know the Post had several that were back up buyers...

So last night my wife sees the two 28s
Up till that time she thought one now she sees two lol....

Mark,

When I was first married, I only had a few guns, my wife knew what I had (it seems like) by make, model and serial number. Over the years, she got tired of hearing about them and tries not to pay that much attention to them. So now when my wife sees what appears more guns in my gun room I just tell her that they must have multiplied overnight.

Mine is a shooter. It was reconfigured to a skeet gun at some point. It is a good shooter, though, and should be great for quail hunting. It picks up long sporting clays shots nicely too.

Mark and Mills, we need the full story of all three of your guns. Wow, Mills' gun has a Miller trigger and beavertail. Details, please.

Bill
I would be glad to tell about the two guns
Not sure what you want to know
The One from the Kittery Trading post does have some nice history
AF says it was owned by a famous sports writer or his son by the same name
I did order a letter from them as well as here
Nothing has showed yet
The other one I just got yesterday
