Default Original oil painting

Can anyone suggest an artist that I might contact to perhaps do an oil painting of my dogs from a photograph? Thanks.

Two suggestions:

Dave Ruimveld: www.davidruimveldstudio.com

Larry Cory: larrycoryart@mac.com

Dave is still very active. Larry is starting to taper into retirement

They're both very good. Larry is the 7 time Mich Trout and Duck Stamp winner

I have examples of both their works in my cabin

That's a very accomplished piece! Just curious what the medium is -- in the photo it looks like pastel. Do you know what medium the artist used?

Rod Lawrence is from michigan also, he is a good friend, he is going to paint a head of my brittany cash for a surprise for my wife. He has won the michigan duck and trout stamp and federal too. He has a website too. rodlawrence@rodlawrence.com

Yep, Rod's another good one. Between he and Larry Cory, they have something like 13-14 Mich Duck and Trout stamps
