Default CHE 123014

I have hesitated posting this gun because of its condition but here goes anyway. A little history on it; I bought the action only about a year ago on one of the auction sites, a couple of weeks later I ran across an ejector forend on ebay, suprise, same serial as the action! I had a buttstock for a C grade that was about 2000 numbers later than this action, it fits almost perfectly. Later one of the members of this forum advertised a set of VHE barrels that are usable with it. As you can see, the gun was rode hard and put away wet but I think it is worth resurrecting as the engraving style is not too common.

Wow!! I'm so glad you decided to post - what a great "labor of love" you are undertaking! Good for you! As well, I really do like the engraving on this "old gal''...

As Dave said - please keep us posted!

Yours is the scarce rondelle side panel engraving ( found 1900-1905) which is always that I have seen accompanied by something unusual on the trigger plate. I'm ambivalent on rebuilding most Parkers, but to me these early C's are special and worth the effort. I have a 121 SN CHE 16ga in that process now.

Keep us posted.

Very cool. It's a Lazarus gun.
