Default Selective Ejectors

On one of the SxS facebook pages a guy posted photos of a Syracuse Arms 12g that he recently acquired. The gun had a selector on the forend for disabling the ejectors.
I have seen this on a few newer guns, but not on a vintage double before. Does anyone know how many makers offered truly selective ejectors like this?

I say truly, because some makers call their ejector systems selective, but that just meant that only fired shells were ejected, not every time the gun was opened.

Rigby guns had a hexagonal nut in the forend to allow selection of ejectors or extractor. I don't know the dates when this feature was available, but it was in the late 1890s to early 1900s.

Early Lefever's with the 2nd variation of for end ejectors could be made to either extract or eject by way of turning two screws. But this was short lived, as he introduced the in-frame style of ejectors which was a far more robust design (but wasn't selective).

In terms of Syracuse Arms guns, I believe the selective type was not introduced until after Frank Hollenbeck was gone, and a gentleman named Horne became the superintendent. I can't recall his first name off the top of my head, but if memory serves, it was his patent.

TopGun or Researcher would know best....perhaps they will chime in.
