Default ph swivels

I have a ph 12ga. with fluid steel barrels and factory sling studs. How would I attach a sling to these studs?

Thank you
Bill E.

Default ph swivels

Thank you for the reply but I need to know what kind of metal attachment do I use to attach the sling bow to the studs on the bbl. and the stock?

Thank you

Bill E.

I thought you had the factory ones which if I am not wrong, would have had the loop on them. If you have only the stud then you will need to have someone install the correct loop or just use detachable sling swivels. If the holes are too small then you know what to do on that, one or the other needs to be altered, and I would alter the swivels and not the gun hardware. I have purchased two guns that had swivels, probably aftermarket but I can't be sure, and in both cases someone had removed the loops or ground the barrel ones down leaving just part of the hardware. I removed them and filled the holes on both the barrels and the stock (which were missing).

No matter which you do the slings from Jeff's are the ones to use on a classic double. Did a letter say they were from the factory? If so you will need to find someone who can put the loops back in them if you want it to be correct. I left with Brian Dudley such a European gun that someone took off the loop from the barrels , to have it put back on as well as the missing one from the stock. Why it bothered people so much they remove the loops I don't know. I like them on there if that's the way they came.

A picture of the studs would help us to understand exactly what you need. How have you determined that they are "factory"?

We need a picture to tell us whether you need "hooks" or a standard swivel. There are more than a couple different types. Hooks have become fairly scarce on the market.
