This is indeed a Parker DHE. It was refinished. I can see the screws are not perfect. I will look in the book for 229XXX serial numbers to locate DHE's.

Refinished DHE grade, late model Miller trigger, stock cut and piece of wood added at butt. There is not a 229,000 range gun in our Serialization Book for reference. Original barrel length will have to be determined by examining the muzzle area of the rib and measuring the bores and chokes with a micrometer.
