Default Pictures: A Morning Walk In Penn’s Woods…

As of this past Wednesday I am on vacation till January 2nd 2013 “OOOO Yeah”
Parker girl 12 & I went for an awesome morning slow walk down a wooded trail.
Results: squirrel potpie for dinner.

Parker GH 12ga. #1 frame made in 1900 still taking game in 2012.

For you paper shell guys, this is my favorite currently made 12ga. ammo.
(and ‘YES’ it has that unforgettable paper shot shell smell)

Thanks Mike. There is nothing like the smell of a fired paper shell on a frosty morning in the coverts.....

I don't know, nor do I care.
What I do know is those paper shells throwing 1 1/8 oz. of shot
at 1200 fps work great on everything I hunt from dove to pheasant.
I don't have exploding Damascus syndrome.

Mike, great looking squirrels and Parker. My brother and I started hunting squirrels (legally) at 14 years of age with matching Winchester Model 37 20 gauge guns. We usually did well on squirrels. Not so well on upstate NY partridge but we did reasonably well. Of course that was 52 years ago. Thanks for sharing.

Mike ,Nice Hunt ! I just said to my Wife a few days ago ,a Batch Of Squirrel would be be good and she says , Sure Would ,I don't know why you don't hunt them any more ! Come to think of it ,I don't know either ,maybe I'll take the Old 10 Gauge for a little walk one of these Mornings ! Thanks for Posting ! Russ
