Default Returning Former Member

Hello all, I am a former Parker Club and BBS member, returning to the board after life has settled down some. The experience and knowledge found here is fantastic.

I am a retired Naval officer. Luckily I wound up living only a few dozen miles from the National Sporting Clays Association/ National Skeet Shooting Association so I can and do shoot sporting clays fairly often. Normally with my 16 gauge Parker DHE. If the Texas weather cooperates I hope to be a returning quail hunter as well. In the meantime I chase pheasants and sharptails in South Dakota and sometimes in Montana.
Looking forward to soaking in the knowledge here!

Welcome back William.
I agree, there is truly a wealth of experience and knowledge to soak up here on the PGCA website and discussion forums.
I would however, encourage you to spend $40 and become an annual member and reap the many more benefits that Forum Associates are not privy to.
For one thing, you will receive the quarterly forty-eight page color glossy magazine (actually our newsletter or more appropriately 'journal') absolutely loaded with Parker-related stories about special Parkers and who owned them or stories of hunting with Parkers. Technical articles on the Parker Shotgun appear in practically every issue as well.
Further, you will have access to the Members Only section of the Forum where you will be able to buy and sell Parkers and other SXS shotguns as well as books, clothing and all sorts of sporting equipment.

Welcome back and thank you for your service. My father was a Navy man.
