Default Question regarding 2 1/2 & 2 5/8 Chambers

Yes I needed advice. I have a sterlingworth with 2.5 inch chambers that I reload 2.5 inch shells for. I just bought a fox AE grade with 2 5/8 chambers . I would think that 2.5 inch shells with the same loads I shoot in the sterlingworth would shoot just fine in the 2.5/8 chambers. I wanted to know if anyone has tried it and if it worked well or if it messed up the pattern or worse.

also the barrels seem to be 4 weight, Cromox Fluid Compressed Steel .....What does that mean ??

Thanks in advance for any info
Kirk
