Default Resizing 8 gauge hulls

I finally got some imperial sizing wax so I've been resizing 8 gauge hulls this weekend . Its actually pretty simple the sizing die has a A side and B side. One side begins the resizing and the B side finishes it . Im just using a 1 ton arbor press and after I finish the sizing, I use a 3/4" wood dowel to push the case out . They fallout out the chambers like butter .

The Winchester hulls resize pretty easily, the Remington hulls are a different story . You need about the strength of a Silverback gorilla for those lol or a 2 ton arbor press .

I have this wood cap thats relieved on the inside and its about the diameter of the case head. So there its nothing contacting the primer while resizing .

3rd picture is the 2nd step .

Milt nice setup. Did you make the resizing die? I really prefer the Winchester hulls, they last me 8 or 9 reloading.
Has anyone who loads for 8 found a source for Fiocchi 8ga hulls??

I emailed their US headquarters a few weeks back , they told me they dont sell anything directly and I would need to contact a distributor or dealer . Which there is one near me . According to their website the 8 gauge hulls comes in packs of 1200 I think .

I didnt make the die, Wayne gave it to me when he sold me the 8 gauge .
doing some rough measurements it seems one end is around .920 and the other end around .915 . Im glad the arbor press works really well for this as I didnt want to have to buy a large swaging press .

Im curious as how RST plans to do their 8 gauge resizing, I talked to them a few weeks back they said it would probably be next year on them. Resizing them like I am doing works great but I wouldnt want to do it if I was having to load them in bulk .

These green Remington hulls feel like they need a 800lb gorilla to size them lol . So I'm just going to keep those tucked away for now . I could resize in one step but figured it leaves the brass a little nicer looking doing it in two . I'm playing around with different methods though seeing what works etc . It is a relaxing past time just sitting there running hulls through the resizer.

Got a few more done.

My RST loads came in also for the 10 gauge Parkers. I really need to go to range one day and do some pattern testing .
