Default Parker SxS 12ga

A local gun shop tells me I have a 12 gauge side-by-side Parker shotgun with 30" Damascus barrels that's in poor condition. The stock was painted, but they say some of the parts might be of value to the right person. I can take a few pictures and send them if you'd like to know more.

We would love to see pictures to offer candid opinions - but keep in mind selling on this site by non-PGCA Members is not allowed.

Doug, I thought I became a member when I registered. Apparently not, but would be glad to join once I know more. I'll send pictures later today. Thanks.

I'd appreciate opinions about the attached photos. My husband passed recently and I need all the help I can get as regards the guns he inherited from his grandfather. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Linda - We're very sorry to hear of your husband'a passing and we hope you're doing well.

That Parker shotgun is not one of the American-made Parker Brothers shotguns. It is a British or Belgian gun of lesser quality and value. Others will come on with probably more informative responses. A few hundred dollars is probably all you can hope to realize for it.

Best Regards, Dean

Thanks to both of you for your help. I'm glad to have any information about the gun.

Doug, if I decide to sell it, I'll become a member. Thanks for sending the link.

Generally considered a “wall hanger” these days. They have little interest in them and usually are rattle traps today due to their low quality when new. This one looks like it is all there and better than most.
It is worth a couple hundred dollars tops.
