Default Trojan with Vulcan Barrels

Looking at a decent Trojan 1 frame 16. All serial numbers look good, and the book agrees with configuration with an interesting exception. Although the rib shows Trojan Steel, the flats are marked V. Is this common at all....guess is they were trying to knock out an order of Trojans for someone, and ran out of barrels? This is the last gun of 23 straight Trojans, all with the same configuration.

Your guess is a pretty good one Mark. From time to time we see some strange things that look 'factory' but can't be explained conventionally.

Likely a factory mistake in marking.
