Smile parker or cheap import

Hello,
New to the site, picked up the gun at an estate sale with no history on in, any help identifying it would be much appreciated. parker7.jpg

The British Parker family was making guns a generation or two before the Parker Brothers got stuck with a load of musket barrels and decided to go into the shotgun business to find a use for them - i find it funny we think they were taking advantage of the name

and i don't think you can all an English proofed gun cheap of hand

looks to be a typical Birmingham set of post 1887 proofs

that gun - although likely an inexpensive one - even in its day- would have to be judged on its own merits

but to avoid confusion the next time- American Parkers are labeled Parker Brothers - not just Parker
