Default Fox AE named Blondie…

Fox AE named Blondie…

Blondie was restocked, reblued and tuned by Peter Kogut of NH. The barrel wedges were done by Frank Conroy who is a noted engraver, in CT. The checkering was done by a woman who worked with Pete. Fox MEMBERS can read an article on Blondie in the Spring 2009 Fox newsletter. Article titled "Will be used for Trap Shooting" by Frank Srebro, whom I bought this gun from. The article is in the Newsletter archives on the Fox members forum.

Personally, I've always preferred redheads, but that's a blond I could love!

Great gun, Mark! I especially like the figure in the wood and the "proper pad." What are the lighter areas in the barrel wedge engraving? Is it "light blink" from the flash or is there stippling or other shading effect? Also, great 'atypical' heart-shaped checkered panels on the stock cheeks - classy!

Very nice gun Mark. I consider myself fortunate to live about 30 mins drive from Pete Kogut. Along with doing great work he is a great guy.

Thanks Kevin! I am pleased that you like this custom Fox I'll trade it to you for your HE XE upgrade...

Here is a close up of the barrel wedge engraving.
