Harry, I think I bought mine at Numeric a few years back. I fit mine with a fine file, a black Sharpie marker, and lots of patience. Keep the old one, you never know, may be perfect on another set of barrels.

I bought one from Galazan’s about 14 or 15 years ago. My machinist/gunsmith told me that the fit of the wear plate to the recess in the lug and pin hole was so poor he had to make me one from scratch.
That was long ago and maybe Galazan’s wear plate has been improved since then. .

That's right Dean, I did buy mine from Galazan, not Numeric. I may have been lucky with the pin lining up. I only filed mine to a minimal and the lever snapped into place. I left it a little more right to wear in on its own to seat.

I got one from Brian a year or two ago, and, correctly, the pin hole was NOT drilled.

Galazan still have them cataloged.
I looked into getting them made and the cost for me to have them done was going to be more than galazan was selling them for, so I did not do it.

Maybe it's a part Joe Breda (One of our paid advertisers in PP) could undertake.
Having seen the level of detail Pine Tree Casting could do, I'm certain if the numbers justified it (which I doubt), it's well withing the capabilities of a good investment casting shop. They were doing the triggers for the Ruger Vaquero. Since Bill Jr's retirement and passing I have no contact at Pine Tree anymore |
