now thats my kinda gun...tha i like the 8 lbnks for posting this gun..this answers my questions i have finally seen a 6 frame 12 ga...i like the weight of the barrels but i seen a 3 frame set of 10 ga barrels in 30 inch length that weighed 8 lbs 14 ounce.i have a 3 frame 10 ga with stamped weight at 7 lbs 14 ounce...i love the heavy weights of these old guns this 12 ga 6 frame tho is the heavist wight of barrels i have seen...what a duck gun and what a odd combination of chamber lengths..i have a stevens 12 ga with 3 inch chamber on the right barrel and the left barrel in 3 1/2 inch chambers but i lenthened them myselfmaybe some day i will lentghened the the right barrel out..would not recommend any body do this theirselves.....charlie

I know that gun it was just on GB. It's a 10ga I believe. The new owner is a friend and a frequent poster and a PGCA Life Member.

yes, the book does say 10 and 30"

The owner states and we measured 12 and 32, but that's OK, I deleted the post.

I'm sorry Bruce, but I don' t understand, if someone questions what you post because of what they see in the Book so you pull down important pictures because you got pissed.....The "Book" is wrong many times and I think CL was going by that, so now he knows the book can be wrong. Why take your bat and ball home... Sorry I just don't understand the logic with that....!

Agreed. It is not very nice to start off a good thread with good pictures and then delete. I for one enjoy Bruce's pictures
