Default More gunroom items

A couple more gunroom items just rolled out of the shop (garage). I've had a bunch of requests for either plans for, or a real copy of, the gun rack I posted a while back. Here's one in walnut that I made for a guy who posts here from time to time. Also, shown is a display cabinet for duck calls, ammo, lures, your salt and pepper shaker collection... anything you like, in my case its fly reels

Looks like either a Bogdan or a copy- have to see the back for the ID plate Stan and Steve rivet to the back plate to be sure- and a Billy Pate/Ted Jurasick anti-reverse Salt water reel?? Maybe a Hardy and some other real fine reels- nice job of cabinetry Dave- very well done!!

Dave: What are the two strips on the base of the gun rack? Also, leather straps? Some type of non-skid product to keep the butts in place??

Thanks,
Jack

They are just thick strips of bull hide. I like them for skeleton butt plates, just a little softer than walnut checkering. You could use rubber too, that might even be better.
