Default EDW. K. Tryon Company

I was at a gun auction this weekend and found this in a box lot!
It is marked 1938 in crayon on the cover.
First one I have found! Must have been a neat place.

I have owned a few Foxes that went through here, and I know they moved a ton of Parkers also.
Tryon was a true wholesaler distributor, you had to have referances from two or three hardware or sporting goods jobbers to set up an account.
If you wanted to see their stock you had to make an appointment.
It appears that EK Tryon was in the right place at the right time to be a major Fox Shotgun wholesaler.

I have several guns that lettered through them. That is a great find!

Very nice find. I recall seeing that name on my PGCA letters somewhere.
