Why would the Vintagers set this shoot up knowing the shoot that was going on at the Rock, not only do you split the shooters, you have now also split the vendors.... Why would you do that, and please don't tell me they didn't know...... it's been posted for almost a year I am sorry but the Vintagers blew it, or maybe they just want to try and sink a very good shoot

Your right John, why would they do that? Perhaps if all the active double gun shooters would send the person in charge a letter or email respectfully voicing our concerns they may see the light and do the right thing.

I'll write to him, what's his contact information?

I sincerely hope a bunch of us write to him expressing our concerns not only for the Rock Mountain shoot but for the success of his too. It doesn't do either organization any good by planning two events on the same weekend.

go to the Vintagers website. the email address for the current president is there and open to website viewers.
I emailed him several months ago and he responded very quickly and was professional and very nice.

MHO but I doubt anything will change.

I hate this as I have really missed the Vintage Cup not being around and was pumped that Mike started such a great shoot and was willing to schedule his shoot to accommodate the shooters.

Lord and my wife willing I plan on being at Mikes in Sept.

This makes no sense to me either. The opportunity exists here to have one hell of a good shoot with increased participation from both vendors and shooters if these were not at competing locations. Personally, I'll be driving from NC past the vintage cup all the way to PA for an awesome weekend of shooting at the Rock.
