The gun in question is the short-lived Minier Model, 1906 to 1908. Serial numbers 130000 to 151770. And, it is spelled ITHACA!!

It is a Minier, and a nice example, and looks Kornbrath engraved to me. Tha patina is really nice....by looking at the butt, it is obvious that countless rounds have been launched from this fine old smokepole, but the metal work, and what wood to metal shown, indicates decades of decent maintenance. Have a soft spot for graded Ithacas....

Kenny, very nice Grade 3. I just sold my Grade 3 with chain link damascus barrels, and now have sellers remorse after seeing yours.
