It appears to be the gray colored version. It looks like a good one.

Thanx Bill and Dave - I just posted pictures of the whole Catalogue and additional Papers in an album named -"Pine Cone Catalogue". Whatever additional comments that anybody can give me on Condition, History, Value, etc. would be appreciated. Billy

I don't believe anyone has ever posted pictures of the entire Pine Cone catalog. Thanks. Your catalog seems to be quite nice with some fraying in the lower right corner of the cover. The pages look great. The Parker Story does not estimate the difference in era of the grey and brown versions, only that they span 1910 to 1912. The ejector flyer is listed as 1914, so your catalog was probably mailed out right before Parker Brothers went to the 1915 large catalog with the tan cover. My ejector flyer was inserted in my 1915 catalog. I don't have any Pine Cones in my ebay file. Dave Noreen only has one in his file, so I guess they don't come up too often. Your winning bid probably established the value of a good pine cone.

FWIW, there is a better condition January 1, 1912 price list on Pat McKune's web site for $50.

Billy, I found another Pine Cone in my ebay files. It was in February of 2009, seems to be a grey cover like yours. It sold for $471.00 plus shipping. The last tan cover 1915 catalog I saw sold went for $650 as I recall. Another brown cover pine cone went for about the same price. That was probably five years ago. If Pat McCune ever comes up with one of the 1915 catalogs, I believe the price will be north of $800.
