We have used blinds for years for crow shooting. That, and dekes, a plastic owl, a racoon fur, and an electronic call.
A setup next to a pecan orchard will get you some good shooting!

You are dead on right about pecan orchards! Freshly dug peanut fields are excellent, too.

The HE grade Fox pictured in the OP is awesome on crows too, with 4s, 5s or 6s, according to the set-up.
