Default Nice buck in the velvet

A friend just got to looking at some summer pics from his trail cams and found this guy. As they say, at "an undisclosed location".

Dandy, good mass. I assume there will be a tree stand near by.

Great rack - great mass. I wonder what it looks like now.

Boy, since Gary Alt turned the deer hunting world in Pa on its ear the bucks there have turned from 3" spikes to the class of this deer. Amazing. He was correct in his deer management philosophy.

Right about that Steve. Same thing here in VT when they went from 3” spikes to a minimum of two points on at least one antler. We’re seeing a LOT more mature bucks. And they’re smarter too.

Haaaaaaaa, sometimes I wonder if those summer/pre-season pics are pre-loaded in the trail cams just to get us juiced, a clever tactic to drive more deer hunting merchandise off the shelves at Cabelas'...lol! Guaranteed, he'll be wearing night vision goggles come November!!
