Default Hevi-Metal 10 ga. Hulls

I've acquired quit a few Hevi-Metal 31/2" 10 ga hulls. Anyone know if they can be reloaded or what hull type they could be substituted for? Also not opposed to cutting them down to 27/8".

Never heard of “Hevi-Metal”... are you sure they’re not Hevi-Shot?

its a form of rock music Dean

so hulls must be the remains of the worn out performers

Brian - if you post a picture of the hulls and head stamps maybe we can tell you who made them -

More than likely Cheddites . A picture of them bottom of the hull would help.

Hevi-Metal made by Hevi-Shot is a combination of Hevi-shot and steel. I use them all the time for geese. They are Cheddites I am sure for the base metal is paper thin and autos dent them when fired.

Yes, they're Hevi-Metal by Hevi-shot.

Some 10 G Cheddites are Brown, I reload RST Brown 10s with the distinctive Cheddite Star on the case head. Cut down to 2 7/8 they load well.
