heres the picture of the resizer for the ga industrial hullstheextention is a 3/8 i use the big end to knock the hull out of the resizer..the resizer is about 5 inches long..get your machinest to get the first part of the brass to just barely go into the resizer it needs to be a little tite..then when you put the resizer under the press one pull and you got a resized hull ready to go into any 8 ga gun... shotgun that is....charlie

Now that is my kind of kitchen table. WD-40 right next to my peanut butter jar. I don't see a box of Saltines.

That is a very simple solution Charlie 8 Bore. does it work on those yellow Remington Industrial shells that I have a bunch of?

george it will work on those yello shells really good..so far i have put 5 differant type of hull s through the resizer..this is really a good tool and its cheap to have made.. and pretty hard to tear up....now if i just can come up with a 6 point crimper for the 8 ga...charlie

Default 8 ga reloader

Charlie I have a die and shell holder that fits into an RCBS press. I got the machine shop address out of Tom Armbrust 4 and 8 ga loads book.(BPI) One push up and retract the arm resizes a black Remington case from a kiln gun. I found
that if I punch out all the spent primers on an old press first I am more efficient reloading. It really works like a champ. I roll crimp at a table-top drill press (20 bucks at a thrift store)I have on the bench for just that purpose. Tom has loads in the book but I have been doing mostly black powder and only reload the hulls once because the BP really scorches the cases.Good luck.

i have tom armbrust book i called the no for that 8 ga die and talked to the fellow he told me that he had quit makeing the die.now that was about 5 years back or longer he may have started making them again...this old resizer i had made works with one pull down on the presses lever handle..only thing the hull needs a little help so i use the big end of a 3/8 rachet s extention couplsa firm knocks on a hard surface and its out...but i would like to have a8 ga reloader like the mag ten on thereloaders..tom armbrust makes some but a fellow on this site said he s been waiting a year on his... anyway i would settle for a 6 point crimper at the moment.i too roll crimp the 8 ga but would like to have a 6 point crimper also...charlie

Charlie I made a die of Wayne's specs as well. Works pretty good but extraction has been tough. I plan to redesign and make a better one. I think it needs a taper inside to make it better and extraction easier. Did they harden the die?

yes the die has been hardened..i m thinking of setting up another press to ease getting the hull out of resizer..but a coupla whacks with the extention will do the job too..one thing for sure this thing will resize a hull and it looks good....charlie

Charlie - Assume you are using a good die lubricant?
