went to a gun show Saturday seen several desireable things...one was something I have never seen before it was 3 gun scabbards for m 1 garands for use on horses... I seen a 20 ga fox sterly 26 inch barrels 800 dollars pretty nice gun.....next a 20 ga model 24 Winchester it was super nice....700 dollars I should have bought it....must have seen 30 mi carbines none cheap...1200 to 2000 dollars... 3 really nice combination guns but at 3000 dollars I passed....lots of deer rifles fellow could have found his self a good rifle...a stock for a high grade model 70 Winchester 150 bucks....it was Winchester model 42 day probably 15 of them no cheap ones...a Korean Thomson model 28 semi auto gold plated nice new 6500 bucks...a cast iron charcoal cooker really neat 125 dollars...bunches of axes and hatches yep all high...set of small cast iron wight scales 125 dollars a good buy I thought...lots of ammo especially for old double rifles...but not 1 pound of powder or shot....lots of old coins and pocket watches....charlie

I just wish I could go to a gun show again. I really miss them. Wayne I have been looking for 3” 500 Nitro for BPE for My Alexander Henry for years now. I am loading my own but it would be cool to get some factory ammo.

You might be able to contact Kynoch USA and see if they could get you some , they dont list it on their American page but their UK page does .

Charlie;
The Fox 20 would have gone home with me as would have the M24. Don't see many 24s in great condition or smallbore Foxes under 1k. But I realize those tiny guns probably seem like toys to you compared to your 8's and 10's.

Thanks for the report.

My only experience with small bore 16s and 20s is with modern ones which are perhaps overstuffed with payload and in such light guns they were unconformable to shoot . I always get funny looks when I tell people id rather shoot 10 gauges instead of a 20 haha .

Do you shoot reduced loads in your 10's?

Someday come to one of the SxS events and I'll give you the 20ga of your choice to shoot with some of my 3/4oz. loads. Bet you change your tune.

The shells are on me but you will have to return the gun.

I like 10’s for sure and the new to me 8 is growing on me . But for pure pleasure and fun shooting I’d rather have the little 28 or perhaps one of the 16’s .
