Gorgeous wood on that pair of guns.

As Greg indicated these guns are in fact, unfired. I spent a winter afternoon carefully removing the cosmoline from all of the metal surfaces.

I intend to use the guns.

Bill - when I met her briefly, Eva seemed to be a total sweetheart. If you hadn't told me so, I never would have identified her as a Wirehair. I don't doubt her athletic (or field) abilities one bit. Kansas is quite the climber but trees do give him a hard time - it's not from a lack of trying though

I have never seen a double gun case like that for a Parker Reproduction. Kansas looks a lot like my Daisy. Congrats on a nice pair of guns.

Update - actual bore and choke dimensions for these two Steel Shot Specials.

12SS-00175
Bore Right = .7350 / Choke = .0076
Bore Left = .7345 / Choke = .0121

12SS-00176
Bore Right = .7351 / Choke = .0079
Bore Left = .7346 / Choke = .0123

*Bore dimensions taken 3.0 behind muzzle - choke taper / geometry begins 2.5 behind muzzle - unrestricted shot travel = 22.5 (5.5 barrel length decrement)
