Julia bought a Quail Unlimited special edition over / under 28 gauge some years back. When we sold it, there was no premium on the price

Mills,

We went to John Allen's place that he had in Nashville, TN a few years back and my wife bought one of those Browning Quail Unlimited 28 GA's for me as a surprise Christmas present. I think they are still selling for what she paid for that one. You didn't sell yours to John did you?

I did not sell mine to John. It was a fine gun but we just were not using it.

Is John still in business ? I have not had the chance to look for him for a while.

He's got a few things for sale. I have bought two great Parkers from him, one last year.

I believe John is on here occasionally. He closed his "Game Fair" shop in Nashville some time ago I think. He advertises that he does appraisals.

John does appraisal services as well as sells some guns on GI and at some gun shows. I used to make the 2 hr trip to Nashville to peruse his store. Bought several Brownings and Winchesters from him. A fine fellow John is.
