Default Market Hunter's Gun & Sneak Box Model

At the last gunshow in Chantilly, VA last week-end a gentleman walked in with this Remington model 11 Market Hunter's gun. I knew I had to have it to put with my decoy collection. Also had the opportunity to buy the model of the Sneak Box at the Waterfowl festival at Maryland's Eastern Shore decoy auction two weeks or so ago.

now that is just too cool

what a great display

the sneakbox looks like a cross between a BBSB and a skuller - now you need some tiny to scale decoys to stack on the deck

we stopped at Harve De Grace show on the way back from Charleston last spring - the waterfowling history own there just makes one drool

V cool mod 11 and boat. There's a very interesting market hunters Win Mod 63 .22 auto in the Cody museum that has a 45? rd metal drum magazine adapted into the butt stock and a suppressor. It was used to harvest flocks of geese on the ground by doing head shots, with the suppressor serving to prevent spooking them all.

JJ, is that a Parsons magazine on the Model 11 or home made? I have a Parsons on my A-5.

Very cool, and, of historical significance! It has been said, that, guns like yours did more to the population of ducks and geese than 4s and 8s!

Bill,I'm not sure about who made the magazine, may be a Remington magazine welded to the original. J.J.
